Why I Coach

For most of my life, I’ve been labeled a “high achiever.” From top grades in childhood to degrees from prestigious schools and standout jobs, my life seemed like a collection of accolades on the outside. But deep down, I never felt truly successful. There was always a fear that I’d be “found out” as a fraud. I was trapped in a cycle of shame, perfectionism, and self-doubt, constantly chasing external validation.

It wasn’t until a major life transition during COVID-19 that I hit a breaking point. Working with an amazing coach helped me to start challenging and rewriting these stories, to better understand myself and my values, to find self-compassion and acceptance, and to create my own personally meaningful definition of success. I found more clarity and purpose and continued my journey of self-actualization beyond what years of therapy and my own attempts at “self-improvement” had accomplished.

Today, I’m genuinely happier, I’m more sustainably driven, and feel like I’m more authentic across all aspects of my life and work. And I’m also okay when I’m not those things. Moreover, I’ve come to honor my own strengths and have discovered a calling in helping others on their own paths to fulfillment and impact, guiding them to use their own talents and influence to better the lives of those around them and the world as a whole. How It Works

If you’re curious about whether coaching is right for you and if we’re a good match, the first step is to schedule a complimentary chat. During this session, we’ll get to know each other, discuss your interest in coaching, and even do a bit of coaching work together. I only take on clients when we’re both excited about working together and when your needs align well with my experience and style.

If we’re both eager to proceed after our consultation, we’ll discuss the structure of our coaching engagement. This includes package and subscription options, your access to me outside of sessions, and any other questions you might have. A successful coaching relationship requires a commitment from both of us in terms of time and focus.

Coaching often yields substantial returns in terms of quality of life, happiness, and fulfillment. It can also lead to significant financial gains if your focus is on business goals. To ensure accessibility, I hold several sliding scale spots for individuals with limited financial resources.

Coaching Engagement Types

I work with clients in one of two ways, depending on their specific needs:

  • Core Clients

    I work with most clients as “Core Clients,” who purchase coaching packages with a set number of sessions that they can schedule based on their needs and preferences, usually weekly or biweekly. Each package is designed to provide consistent support and guidance tailored to your unique goals and flexes across different types of coaching as needed. I’m fully invested in your success, and every active package includes access to me via email and video messaging between sessions. This approach ensures that you receive ongoing support and accountability as you work towards your goals.

  • Partner Clients

    I have just a handful of “Partner Clients,” who can consider me an invested partner in all of their work and life endeavors. Partner Clients pay a fixed price for either a six or twelve-month engagement, giving them full access to all of my coaching services. This includes standard weekly sessions, shorter “flex sessions” for extra support as needed, and a bank of hours for additional services like consulting, personal training, and workout planning. These clients also have access to me via email, text, and video message during business hours. On a case-by-case basis, costs may be partially subsidized through in-kind equity arrangements
